Demerara sugar: grams per cup
King Arthur Baking lists 1 cup of demerara sugar at 220 g, which works out to 220 g per US cup, 13.8 g per tablespoon and 4.58 g per teaspoon. So 100 g of demerara sugar is about 1/2 cup (0.45 cups).
Granulated sugars pack fairly consistently, so cup measures are more reliable than for flour; brown sugar is measured packed.
